Full details

The Mamas & Papas Wedmore Small Cotbed in Cashmere is designed for parents with limited nursery space who refuse to compromise on style or safety. This versatile piece serves as a secure crib for newborns and transitions seamlessly into a toddler bed for children up to four years old, offering exceptional longevity in a compact footprint. While its space-saving design is a significant benefit, it is important to note that it requires a specific, smaller mattress size of 120 x 60 x 10cm, which must be purchased separately.

FAQs

What age range is this cotbed suitable for?

It is suitable from birth up to approximately 4 years of age.

Does the mattress come with the cot?

No, the mattress is sold separately. You will need a 120 x 60 x 10cm mattress.

Can I convert this into a sofa?

The product is designed to convert from a cot to a toddler bed, not a sofa.

How many base heights are available?

There are 3 adjustable base heights available to suit your child's developmental stages.

What tools are needed for assembly?

All necessary hardware and tools are typically included in the box. Refer to the manual for a complete parts list.

Is the Cashmere finish easy to maintain?

Yes, the finish is durable and can be kept clean with a soft, damp cloth.

Troubleshooting

The base feels unstable or wobbles

Check that all bolts and hardware are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.

Difficulty lowering the base height

Ensure the cot is on a level surface and check that no bedding or debris is blocking the base mounting holes.

Surface marks or scuffs on the Cashmere finish

Gently clean with a mild soap solution and a soft microfibre cloth; do not use heavy-duty solvents.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly of the Wedmore Small Cotbed is designed to be user-friendly, though it is recommended to have two people present for the initial setup. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely during assembly and check them periodically to maintain structural integrity. For compatibility, you must use a mattress specifically sized at 120 x 60 x 10cm; standard full-size cotbed mattresses will not fit. To care for the finish, wipe down surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads that may damage the wood-effect accents or the Cashmere coating.
