Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Yankee Candle lasts its full 29-hour lifespan, place the jar on a heat-resistant, level surface away from flammable materials. On your first burn, allow the candle to remain lit until the wax has fully liquefied to the edges of the jar; this prevents 'tunneling' (where the wax only melts down the center). Before each lighting, trim the natural fiber wick to approximately 5mm to prevent smoking or flickering. When finished, extinguish the flame carefully—avoid blowing it out to prevent soot—and replace the glass lid once the wax has completely cooled to maintain the scent’s integrity.
