FAQs

Does the palette really smell like peaches?

Yes, the palette is infused with a signature peach scent that is noticeable during application.

Are these shadows vegan?

Please check the individual product packaging as ingredient formulations can change; Too Faced is generally cruelty-free.

Can I use these shadows wet?

Yes, the shimmer shades in particular perform well with a dampened brush to increase intensity.

How many shades are included?

This specific reinvention contains nine shades.

Is the mirror removable?

No, the mirror is integrated into the compact lid for travel convenience.

Troubleshooting

Powder fallout during application

Tap your brush to remove excess product before application or apply eye makeup before your foundation.

Shimmer pigment looks dull on the lid

Use a damp synthetic brush or your fingertip to press the shimmer directly onto the lid rather than sweeping it.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Highly blendable formulas that prevent muddy-looking transitions
Versatile color range suitable for both daytime neutrals and bold evening looks
Compact mirrored design is ideal for travel
Includes a variety of textures including matte and shimmer finishes

Cons

The inherent peach scent may be distracting for those with fragrance sensitivities
Nine-pan size is more limited compared to the original larger palette releases
Some shimmer shades may require a primer for maximum longevity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best color payoff, prepare your eyelids with an eye shadow primer, especially if you have oily skin. When applying shimmer shades, a damp brush or fingertip will provide the most intense pigment transfer. For maintenance, keep the mirrored compact closed when not in use to preserve the integrity of the scent and keep the shadows free of debris. Clean your brushes regularly to prevent cross-contamination of colors, and store the palette in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the shelf life of the pressed powders.
