Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This device requires wiring and should be installed by a qualified electrician or individual with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Ensure the power is completely disconnected before beginning installation. Mount the switch in a location where it can accurately sense ambient light, avoiding direct light sources that could interfere with its operation (e.g., under a porch light). Connect the load, line, and neutral wires according to the diagram provided with the product. Once mounted, adjust the LUX dial to set the desired ambient light sensitivity and the TIME dial for the duration you want the connected lights to remain on after activation.
Compatibility: The switch is designed to control standard outdoor lighting fixtures. Verify the power rating of the connected lights does not exceed the maximum load capacity of the photoelectric switch.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the sensor lens with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, or cobwebs. Ensure the housing remains free of debris. No lubrication or special maintenance is required.
