Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials.
- Ensure the wick is centered and trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) before the first burn.
- For the first burn, allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax pool to reach the edges of the container to prevent tunneling.
Compatibility:
This candle is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, though indoor use is generally recommended for optimal scent throw and protection from elements. Its cylindrical shape and stable base make it compatible with most candle holders or surfaces.
Care:
- Wick Trimming: Regularly trim the wooden wick to 1/4 inch (6mm) before each use. If the flame becomes too large or smoky, extinguish, let cool, trim the wick, and relight.
- Burn Time: Avoid burning for more than four hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool and solidify before relighting.
- Cleaning: Keep the wax pool free of debris. If the container becomes dusty, wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth once the candle is completely cool.
