This versatile LED work light from Makita is compatible with both 14.4V and 18V Makita Li-ion batteries, as well as 240v mains power. It features twenty 0.5-watt LEDs that provide a bright and even light, with two brightness settings (high and low) controlled by a simple push button. The light unit is housed in a rugged moulded carry cradle with a flat base and a top handle that can also serve as a hanging bar. The angle of the light can be easily adjusted and locked into place with a rotating knob, allowing for 360-degree rotation. Designed for site operations, this work-light incorporates Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for enhanced resistance to dust and water. It also offers three standard tripod mounting options. When powered by a 4.0Ah 18v Makita Li-ion battery, the DML805 provides a continuous run time of up to 6.5 hours on the high setting or up to 8.5 hours on the high setting with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery. The light also features a low battery alert, a compact design, and weighs only 5.7 lbs with a battery. It can be mounted on an optional tripod light stand individually or with two flood lights.
