Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and flat. Use the cutting grid on the reverse of the vinyl for precise measurements and cuts with a utility cutter. Apply the vinyl slowly, smoothing out air bubbles with a felt edge smoother as you go. The vinyl is repositionable during application, allowing you to correct mistakes. For curved edges, use a hairdryer on a low setting to soften the vinyl for easier shaping.
Compatibility: This vinyl can be applied to any flat surface, including wood, laminate, metal, and glass. It is not recommended for surfaces that are heavily textured, uneven, or porous without proper preparation. Sealant is advised around edges exposed to moisture or heat, such as sinks, hobs, or the edges of worktops.
Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. The vinyl is heat resistant up to 70ºC; do not place hot pans directly onto the surface. To remove the vinyl, gently heat it with a hairdryer and peel slowly.
