The HugglePets Reflective Rope Slip Dog Lead is designed for dog owners seeking a streamlined, all-in-one walking solution that prioritizes safety during low-light conditions. It is ideal for active owners who walk their dogs in early mornings or late evenings and benefit from a tool that doubles as a training aid. While this slip lead offers excellent control, users should note that the slip design requires consistent tension management to ensure the dog remains comfortable during walks.

No, this is a slip lead designed specifically for walking and training. It should be removed once the dog is off-leash to prevent accidental snagging.
Yes, it is available in various sizes, including 0.8 cm thicknesses, making it suitable for smaller breeds when adjusted correctly.
When used correctly and with the slip stop properly adjusted, it provides firm feedback without causing pain. It should never be used as a choke chain.
Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then let it air dry.
The reflective elements are woven into the rope for durability, though abrasive surfaces or excessive washing may reduce their brightness over time.
Adjust the metal slip stop further down the rope to restrict how far the loop can open.
Use a lighter to gently singe the very tip of the rope to prevent further unraveling, ensuring you do not burn the reflective strands.
Check the ring for debris or grit from the road. Clean the metal ring and the rope area with warm water and wipe dry.
To set up the lead, simply slide the metal ring along the rope to form a loop large enough to pass over your dog’s head. Once placed, adjust the slip stop to a position that allows the lead to sit comfortably around the dog's neck, ensuring it is not too tight when the lead is slack.
For care, wipe the rope down with a damp cloth if it becomes muddy or dirty after a rainy walk. Allow it to air dry fully in a shaded area to maintain the integrity of the synthetic materials. Do not machine wash or use harsh chemicals as this may damage the reflective properties or the rope's inner core.
