No, this product is a drying gun and requires a separate air compressor with a 1/4" BSP fitting to operate.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned periodically to ensure optimal performance and prevent particle contamination. Refer to your air compressor's manual for specific filter cleaning instructions.
This gun is ideal for localized or spot repair applications. For larger areas, alternative drying methods might be more efficient.
Check the air compressor is running and supplying pressure. Ensure the hose connection is secure and not leaking. Verify the air filter is clean and not blocked. Check the adjustable airflow setting is not fully closed.
Adjust the distance from the surface. Vary the airflow setting to find the optimal balance. Ensure the nozzle is clean and free from obstructions.
Ensure the 1/4" BSP connection is securely tightened. Use appropriate thread sealant or tape if necessary.
Setup: Connect the drying gun to a suitable air compressor using a standard 1/4" BSP fitting. Ensure the compressor is turned off before connecting. Adjust the desired working pressure to a maximum of 90psi. For optimal performance, the air supply should provide between 7cfm at 40psi and 15cfm at 90psi.
Compatibility: This gun is designed for use with air compressors providing a 1/4" BSP output. It is specifically intended for drying water-based paints and coatings.
Care: After each use, clean the exterior of the gun with a slightly damp cloth. Periodically check and clean the air filter according to the compressor manufacturer's guidelines to ensure optimal airflow and prevent contamination. Store the gun in a dry, clean environment.
