The basket is crafted from a felt-like material made entirely from recycled PET plastic bottles.
No, you should not machine wash this basket. Use a damp cloth to spot clean any soiled areas.
The basket is very lightweight, making it easy to carry even when it is filled with books or magazines.
While it can withstand ambient humidity, it is not recommended for use in direct contact with water or in very high-moisture areas as the material is porous.
The basket measures 48 cm in length, 35 cm in width, and 23 cm in height.
This guide focuses on the beige variant, though the Restore series is often available in a variety of other colors from the manufacturer.
Empty the basket and gently mold the walls back into their upright position; the felt material is flexible and will regain its intended shape.
Use a standard lint roller or a soft garment brush to lift surface debris without damaging the fibers.
There is no complex assembly required for the Muuto Restore Storage Basket; it arrives ready for immediate use. Because of its neutral beige colorway, it is highly compatible with a variety of color palettes, ranging from muted scandi-styles to bolder industrial designs. To maintain the appearance of the basket, simply wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth if dust or minor spills occur. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or submersion in water, as this may affect the integrity of the felted PET material. For longevity, keep the basket in a climate-controlled indoor environment away from direct sunlight or extreme moisture.
