Product Information

Full details

The Ole Henriksen Clinical Skin Treats set is a curated collection of five travel-friendly skincare essentials designed for individuals looking to brighten, exfoliate, and deeply hydrate their complexion. This set provides a complete routine that leverages potent actives like vitamin C, peptides, and niacinamide to promote a radiant glow, though it may not be suitable for those with highly reactive skin types due to the inclusion of exfoliating AHAs.

FAQs

Can I use all these products every day?

While most items can be used daily, the Peach Glaze 10% AHA serum should be introduced gradually to ensure your skin tolerates the exfoliation.

Is this set suitable for sensitive skin?

The set contains active ingredients like AHAs which can be strong; a patch test is recommended if you have sensitive skin.

Does the Banana Bright+ Eye Crème replace concealer?

It helps illuminate and color-correct the under-eye area, but it is a skincare treatment rather than a full-coverage makeup product.

Can I use the AHA serum in the morning?

It is generally recommended to use AHA-based products at night. If used during the day, ensure you follow with a high-SPF sunscreen, as AHAs can increase sun sensitivity.

Are the products cruelty-free?

Ole Henriksen is a brand committed to being cruelty-free and does not test on animals.

How long will the mini sizes last?

Depending on usage frequency, these travel-sized products typically last 2 to 4 weeks, making them perfect for trial or short-term travel.

Troubleshooting

Skin feels sensitive after using the AHA serum.

Reduce frequency of use to every other night or apply a soothing moisturizer immediately after.

Product is difficult to dispense.

Ensure the cap is fully removed and check for any dried residue around the nozzle; squeeze from the bottom of the tube for easier access.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent value for trying multiple bestseller products at once.
Compact sizes are TSA-friendly and portable.
Addresses multiple skin concerns including dullness and lack of hydration.
Formulated with high-quality active ingredients like niacinamide and peptides.
Includes a variety of textures from foaming cleansers to rich creams.

Cons

Product sizes are quite small and may run out quickly with daily use.
Exfoliating acids may cause irritation for users with sensitive skin.
Does not include a dedicated SPF product for daytime use.
The vanilla scent in the lip treatment may not appeal to those who prefer fragrance-free products.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

There is no complex setup required for this set; however, because the collection includes active ingredients like AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), it is recommended to introduce the products gradually into your routine, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Compatibility: These products are generally compatible with most skin types, but the AHA serum should not be layered with other strong exfoliants or retinol products to avoid irritation.

Care: Keep all containers tightly sealed after use to prevent the formulas from oxidizing or drying out. Store the set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the potency of the vitamin C and peptide complexes.
