FAQs

Are these loafers true to size?

Generally, the Saint Laurent Le Loafer series runs consistent with standard European sizing, but the supple leather may stretch slightly over time.

Can I wear these in the rain?

It is not recommended. Extended exposure to moisture can damage the premium leather and the structure of the moc toe.

How do I clean the Cassandre hardware?

Wipe the metal logo gently with a dry, soft microfiber cloth to prevent tarnish and remove fingerprints.

Is the sole repairable?

Yes, a professional cobbler can replace the outsole once it reaches the end of its functional life.

What is the best way to store them?

Use cedar shoe trees inside the loafers and store them in their original dust bags in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Leather appears dry or dull

Apply a small amount of premium leather cream to restore natural oils and buff gently with a soft cloth.

Minor surface scuffs

Use a neutral-colored leather polish or a dedicated suede/leather eraser depending on the specific finish texture.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Saint Laurent loafers, store them in their provided dust bags when not in use. Avoid exposure to harsh weather conditions, as the delicate leather can be damaged by water or excessive salt. If the shoes become wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources. When styling, they pair excellently with tailored trousers, slim-fit denim, or formal chinos. Use only high-quality leather conditioner formulated for delicate finishes to keep the leather hydrated and prevent cracking.
