Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the installation surface is clean, level, and free of debris. Remove any existing grass, weeds, or rocks.
- Base Layer: Depending on the surface, you may need to add a base layer of crushed stone or compacted aggregate to ensure proper drainage and stability.
- Laying the Grass: Unroll the artificial grass and cut it to the desired shape, leaving a small overlap if joining multiple pieces.
- Securing the Edges: Use appropriate fixings, such as nails or adhesive, to secure the edges of the grass to the surface. For joining multiple pieces, use seaming tape and adhesive.
- Infill (Optional): Apply infill material, such as silica sand, to the grass blades to provide added weight, stability, and a more natural look.
