FAQs
Can I use the bookcase without the wheels?
While the unit is designed with wheels, you may choose to leave them off; however, the feet are specifically engineered for the wheel casters, so the stability may vary if used without them.
How much weight can each shelf hold?
The unit is built for high load capacity, but it is advised to place heavier items on the bottom shelf to keep the center of gravity low.
Does the unit come with tools for assembly?
Yes, all necessary parts and hardware are included in the packaging for a standard assembly.
Is the bookcase suitable for bathroom use?
Due to the steel construction, it is best kept in dry environments to prevent long-term rust or degradation of the finish.
What are the dimensions of this unit?
The bookcase features a 4-tier design intended for standard room storage, but please refer to your specific packaging for exact centimeter measurements.
Troubleshooting
The unit feels wobbly after assembly
Check all screw connections to ensure they are fully tightened and ensure the unit is placed on a flat, even floor surface.
The wheels are difficult to roll
Inspect the wheels for caught debris and ensure they are properly aligned and firmly attached to the frame.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High-load capacity thanks to the sturdy steel frame
- Excellent portability provided by smooth-rolling wheels
- Maximizes storage in small footprints through a 4-tier design
- Clean industrial look that complements various interior styles
Cons
- Requires manual assembly with provided components
- Wheels may not perform optimally on thick, high-pile carpets
- The open-shelf design provides no enclosed storage for small items
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly is straightforward; all necessary hardware is included in the package. Before beginning, ensure you have a flat workspace to lay out the steel components. Connect the frame pieces securely as per the manual to ensure total unit stability. For maintenance, wipe the shelves down with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents that could chip the black finish. Periodically check that the wheel casters are tightened and free of debris, such as hair or carpet fibers, to keep the mobility consistent over time.
