Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the mirror from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Determine Placement: Choose the desired wall and position. Use a pencil to mark the desired height for the top of the mirror.
- Measure for Hooks: Measure the distance between the pre-installed hooks on the back of the mirror.
- Mark Wall: Transfer this measurement to your wall, ensuring the marks are level. Use a spirit level for accuracy.
- Install Wall Anchors: Based on your wall type (drywall, plaster, concrete, etc.), install appropriate wall anchors and screws. Ensure they are rated to hold the mirror's weight safely. > Info needed: [Approximate mirror weight for anchor selection]
- Hang Mirror: Carefully lift the mirror and align the pre-installed hooks with the installed screws/anchors. Gently lower the mirror until it is securely seated.
- Final Adjustment: Use a spirit level to ensure the mirror is perfectly straight.
Compatibility
This mirror is highly compatible with a range of interior design styles, particularly:
- Modern: Its clean lines and minimalist frame fit perfectly.
- Industrial: The black metal and grid design complement industrial aesthetics.
- Farmhouse/Transitional: Can add a touch of modern sophistication to a rustic or transitional space.
It is suitable for most indoor living spaces where a large decorative mirror is desired.
Care Instructions
- Glass Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a standard glass cleaner to wipe the mirror surface. Spray cleaner onto the cloth first, rather than directly onto the mirror, to prevent liquid from seeping behind the frame.
- Frame Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the frame and glass with a dry microfibre cloth to prevent buildup.
