Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before using your roasting tin for the first time, it is recommended to wash the pan in warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth to remove any manufacturing residue. When placing the tin in the oven, ensure it is positioned on a flat, stable rack to allow for even heat circulation.
To ensure the longevity of the non-stick coating, always use silicone, wooden, or nylon utensils; avoid using metal forks, knives, or scrapers which can cause irreparable scratches. When cleaning, wait for the pan to return to room temperature before immersing it in water, as thermal shock can warp metal cookware. While the non-stick surface makes hand-washing extremely simple, avoid using harsh abrasive pads or steel wool, as these will erode the coating over time.
