Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Assemble: Follow the quick start guide to assemble the handle and main unit. This usually involves clicking a few pieces into place.
- Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the power adapter to the charging port and plug it into a wall outlet. An indicator light will usually show charging status.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the designated fresh water tank with clean water. Do not overfill.
Compatibility
The Philips OneUp electric mop is designed for hard floor surfaces. This includes sealed hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and other common hard flooring types. For best results, ensure your floor type is suitable for wet cleaning.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Philips OneUp 5000 Series mop, follow these care instructions:
- Empty & Rinse Tanks: After every use, empty both the fresh and dirty water tanks. Rinse them thoroughly with clean water to prevent mildew and odor buildup.
- Clean Mop Head/Rollers: Periodically inspect and clean the mop head or rollers according to the manual's instructions. This may involve rinsing or replacing components.
- Wipe Down Exterior: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the device.
- Storage: Store the mop in an upright position in a dry place. Ensure the tanks are empty and clean before prolonged storage.
- Charging: Keep the charging contacts clean and dry.
