Carlube LM2 Lithium Grease is designed for automotive enthusiasts and industrial professionals seeking a reliable, multipurpose lubricant for high-friction components. Its primary benefit is providing robust protection against corrosion and water washout, ensuring smooth operation for parts like wheel bearings and hinges across varied temperatures. While it excels in general maintenance and mechanical assemblies, users should note it is a non-EP (Extreme Pressure) grease, meaning it is intended for standard mechanical loads rather than heavy-duty, high-impact industrial pressure applications.

Yes, it is designed for automotive wheel bearings and is formulated to handle the heat and mechanical stress associated with standard vehicle operation.
While it is primarily for metal-to-metal applications, it is generally safe for most automotive plastics, but always test a small, inconspicuous area first.
LM2 is a multipurpose grease for standard lubrication needs, whereas EP (Extreme Pressure) greases contain additives specifically for heavy shock-loading and extreme industrial pressure.
Re-application frequency depends on usage intensity and environmental conditions; follow your vehicle or machinery manufacturer's maintenance intervals.
It features excellent water washout resistance, making it highly effective at protecting against moisture-induced corrosion.
Minor oil separation is normal in stored grease; stir the product thoroughly before use to reintegrate the base oils.
Ensure the old, degraded lubricant was fully cleaned out before application; re-apply to ensure full coverage of the contact points.
For the best results, clear away all debris and existing lubricant from the target area using a solvent-based degreaser. Apply the grease manually or via a standard grease gun where applicable. Store the 400g canisters in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the Lithium Hydroxy-Stearate thickener. Avoid mixing this grease with different types of thickeners (such as calcium or aluminum-based greases), as incompatibility can lead to oil separation or premature failure of the lubricant.
