Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from grease or oil.
- Roughen smooth surfaces lightly with sandpaper for better adhesion.
- Dispense equal amounts of resin and hardener from the dual syringe onto a clean, disposable surface.
- Mix thoroughly with a mixing stick until a uniform dark grey color is achieved.
- Apply the mixed epoxy to one surface and join the parts firmly.
- Hold or clamp parts in place for the initial set time (approximately 6 minutes).
Compatibility:
This epoxy is ideal for bonding steel, iron, and other rigid metals. It can also bond to some plastics and ceramics. It is not recommended for use on flexible materials, rubber, or certain types of plastics where adhesion may be poor.
Care:
Store unused syringes in a cool, dry place. Ensure the caps are tightly sealed to prevent premature curing. Once cured, the bond is permanent and can withstand moderate heat and vibration.
