Troubleshooting

Leader is not laying flat on the bottom

Ensure the leader is spliced correctly to avoid unnecessary loops and check that the lead used is heavy enough to pin it down.

Difficulty splicing the material

Ensure you are using the correct size Edges needle and verify that the inner core is properly removed or threaded per the manufacturer's splicing guide.

Leader fraying after use

Check your fishing spot for hidden obstacles like sharp rocks or zebra mussels; consider using a dedicated snag leader if the environment is extremely abrasive.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure optimal performance, this leader should be spliced using Fox Edges needles to maintain the integrity of the line. Before using, inspect the leader for any signs of fraying after landing fish, especially if fishing near sharp rocks or heavy mussel beds. Store the spool in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation. It is fully compatible with most standard lead clips, beads, and swivels designed for carp fishing. To keep the camo finish effective, avoid dragging the leader through harsh abrasive debris repeatedly.
