The kit includes high-durability rings, but you should inspect them regularly and ensure they remain free of abrasive contaminants.
Yes, the aluminum construction and quick-connect system are designed for the rigors of professional workshop environments.
Check the sealing ring inside the adapter for debris or damage; ensure the quick connector is fully seated and clicked into place.
Verify that you have selected the correct adapter size for your vehicle's make and model year; do not force the fit as this may damage the reservoir threads.
Clean the reservoir neck of any old fluid or grime, then ensure the adapter is tightened correctly and the O-ring is seated properly.
To set up the system, choose the specific adapter that matches the reservoir neck of your vehicle. Attach the adapter firmly and check that the quick-connect coupler snaps securely into place. Always wipe the reservoir neck clean before attaching the adapter to ensure a proper vacuum or pressure seal. For maintenance, clean the aluminum adapters with a non-corrosive solvent after use to remove stray brake fluid, which can be caustic. Regularly inspect the internal rubber sealing rings for cracks or flattening, and store the entire kit inside the provided case in a cool, dry environment to prevent moisture accumulation.
