The Exposure Curved Adhesive Helmet Mount Kit is designed for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who need a reliable, low-profile mounting solution for their Exposure lights on non-vented or specialized helmets. Its primary benefit is the secure, multi-purpose design that allows for quick transitions between lighting and action cameras using a simple buckle system, though users should note that the high-strength 3M adhesive requires a clean, flat surface to ensure a permanent bond during intense rides.

Yes, it can be removed using heat (a hairdryer) to soften the adhesive, though it is intended as a permanent installation. You may need a new 3M pad to reattach it elsewhere.
The adhesive is moisture-resistant and designed for outdoor use, but ensure the surface is bone-dry during the initial installation.
It is compatible with most standard action camera mounts that utilize a 2-prong buckle interface.
Matte finishes can sometimes be difficult. Ensure you clean the area aggressively with alcohol and ensure the ambient temperature is above 65°F (18°C) during installation.
Yes, the bolt allows you to adjust the vertical tilt of your light so you can aim the beam exactly where you need it on the trail.
Ensure the buckle clip is fully seated in the mount base and the bolt connecting the light to the clip is tightened securely.
The helmet surface was likely not cleaned well enough before application. Remove the old adhesive, clean with alcohol, and apply a fresh 3M VHB pad.
To install, first clean the helmet surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove oils or wax. Peel the backing from the 3M adhesive, press the curved mount firmly against the desired location, and apply consistent pressure for at least 60 seconds. Crucially, allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before attaching a light. The kit is compatible with the Equinox, Diablo, Axis, Joystick, Sirius, Switch, Link, and Link Plus series. To maintain, periodically check the bolt tightness and ensure the buckle clip plastic has not become brittle due to prolonged sun exposure.
