Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Before starting, ensure you have all necessary tools: a saw, measuring tape, pencil, sealant, and any required mounting hardware.
- Measurement: Measure the existing worktop to ensure the new one fits correctly.
- Cutting: Use a saw to cut the worktop to the required size if needed. Always cut the worktop face-up to prevent chipping.
- Installation: Place the new worktop onto your bathroom unit. Secure it using appropriate screws or adhesive. Ensure the worktop is level.
- Sealing: Apply sealant along the edges where the worktop meets the wall and sink to prevent water damage.
Compatibility
This worktop is compatible with standard bathroom units. It is designed to be paired with sinks and other fixtures commonly found in bathrooms. Ensure that your existing fixtures are compatible with the worktop's dimensions and cutouts, if any.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface regularly with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Protection: Use coasters or mats to protect the surface from hot items, such as curling irons.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the sealant around the edges and reapply as needed to prevent water from seeping underneath.
- Spills: Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
