Product Information

Full details

The adidas Predator Club Astro Turf Football Boots are designed for entry-level players and recreational athletes who frequent synthetic artificial turf pitches. These boots provide a reliable balance of traction and stability, helping players maintain control during fast-paced games. While they offer excellent performance on artificial surfaces, they are not intended for use on firm natural grass or muddy fields where different stud patterns are required.

FAQs

Can I use these boots on grass?

No, these boots are engineered specifically for artificial turf and will not provide the necessary traction on natural grass.

How should I clean my Predator boots?

Clean them with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature.

Are these suitable for indoor courts?

These are designed for astro turf; for flat indoor futsal courts, a specific indoor-court (IC) flat-soled shoe is recommended.

Do these boots run true to size?

The adidas Predator Club line generally follows standard sizing, but it is recommended to wear the socks you intend to play in when trying them on.

What is the primary material of the upper?

The boots feature a durable synthetic upper designed for longevity and performance on abrasive synthetic pitches.

Troubleshooting

Accumulation of rubber pellets in the boot

Shake the boots out after every session and use a shoe brush to clear debris from the lacing area.

Boots feel slippery on the surface

Ensure the outsole is free of caked-on dirt; check that you are using the boots on the intended synthetic turf surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Optimized traction for artificial turf surfaces
  • Secure and adjustable lace-up fit
  • Lightweight and responsive feel
  • Durable materials for long-term wear on synthetic pitches

Cons

  • Not suitable for firm natural grass
  • Limited cushioning compared to professional-grade Predator models
  • Requires proper surface matching for best results

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your boots, follow these guidelines:

  1. Compatibility: Use these boots exclusively on artificial turf, astro turf, or carpet-based synthetic surfaces. Using them on natural, muddy, or soft ground may lead to premature wear and lack of grip.
  2. Cleaning: After play, brush off loose rubber pellets and dirt from the outsole using a soft-bristled brush. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth.
  3. Storage: Always air-dry the boots in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or heaters, which can warp the materials.
  4. Fit: Ensure you tighten the laces firmly to your preference before stepping onto the pitch to prevent internal slippage.
