While durable, it is highly recommended to hand-wash and dry these scissors to preserve the sharpness of the blades and the integrity of the handle material.
No, these shears are designed for raw or cooked poultry and general food preparation. Using them on frozen food can cause the blades to chip or lose their edge.
The ergonomic handles are designed for a universal grip, making them comfortable and effective for both left-handed and right-handed users.
Like any quality cutting tool, they may eventually require sharpening depending on frequency of use. Use a standard kitchen shear sharpener when you notice increased resistance.
While they are great for opening standard food packaging, using them on wire or hard non-food plastics can damage the blades.
Check for food debris stuck in the pivot joint and rinse thoroughly with warm water, then dry and apply a small drop of food-grade mineral oil to the pivot.
Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water to gently buff the surface, then rinse and dry immediately.
There is no complex setup required for the Wangmazi Kitchen Scissors; they are ready for use immediately upon unboxing. To maintain the integrity of the blades, avoid using them to cut frozen foods or metal, as this may dull the edge. After each use, hand-wash the scissors with warm, soapy water. It is essential to dry the blades thoroughly with a clean towel immediately after washing to prevent water spots or rust from forming on the stainless steel. Store them in a cool, dry place to ensure they remain in peak condition.
