Troubleshooting
Chair wobbles or feels unstable.
Ensure all screws and connections, particularly where the base attaches to the seat, are fully tightened. Check that the castors are properly seated in the base.
Seat height adjustment is stiff or not working.
Ensure the chair is not bearing full weight when adjusting the height. Check the lever mechanism for any obstructions. Light lubrication of the gas lift mechanism might be necessary, following manufacturer guidelines.
Boucle fabric appears matted or dirty.
Gently brush the fabric with a soft upholstery brush to restore texture. For stains, use a fabric cleaner specifically recommended for boucle or delicate upholstery, testing in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid rubbing vigorously.
Castors are not rolling smoothly.
Check the castors for any debris, hair, or threads that might be obstructing their movement. Clean the castors thoroughly. If damage is suspected, replacement castors might be needed.
