Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unscrew the pen's barrel from the section.
- Remove the old ink cartridge (if present).
- Insert a new Parker Quink cartridge into the pen section, ensuring it is firmly seated.
- Screw the barrel back onto the section.
- Allow a few moments for the ink to flow to the nib. You may need to gently tap the pen nib-down on a protected surface.
Compatibility:
These Parker Quink ink cartridges are designed to be compatible with Parker fountain pens that utilize ink cartridges. They are *not* compatible with pens that use ink converters or a different cartridge system. Always check your pen's manual or specifications to confirm cartridge compatibility.
Care:
- Store cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to refill or reuse used cartridges, as this can damage your pen or lead to inconsistent ink flow.
- If storing a pen for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the cartridge to prevent ink from drying inside the pen. Dispose of the used cartridge properly.
