It leaves a totally dry finish, which is touch dry in two to three hours and waterproof in 24 hours. The chemical structure of the porous stone is altered, which will provide superb water repellence and a stain-resistant surface. It also offers a lifespan of up to five years, protecting you against a range of green growth like moss, algae and lichen spores. You can apply a second light 'mist' coat if the stone allows. Coverage varies by stone type and coat application. For example, on Sandstone, the first coat covers 5m²/L and the second coat covers 7.5m²/L. On Granite, the first coat covers 12m²/L and the second coat covers 16m²/L.
