Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results, select a sunny, weed-free position for your containers or seed beds. Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm, keeping rows spaced 30cm apart if planting in beds. Germination typically occurs within 10 to 20 days. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 5cm apart to allow the roots sufficient room to swell. Avoid adding fresh manure to your soil in the spring, as this encourages forking; instead, enrich your soil the previous autumn. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged to prevent root rot or cracking.
