Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your hole saws, ensure you have the correct arbor size that fits both your drill chuck and the hole saw diameter. When beginning a cut, use a pilot bit to center the hole saw, applying steady, moderate pressure to avoid binding. For care and maintenance, clean debris from the hole saw teeth after every use to prevent buildup that can cause overheating. For the tape measure, wipe the blade clean with a dry cloth after use in dusty environments and avoid allowing the tape to retract at high speeds, which can damage the hook or the internal spring mechanism. Always store tools in a dry, temperate environment to prevent oxidation.
