Full details
The Yankee Candle Sage & Citrus Signature Small Jar is perfect for those looking to add a subtle, grounding fragrance to smaller living spaces, entryways, or bedside tables. Its primary benefit is a long-lasting, harmonious scent blend that promotes relaxation and a cozy home environment. However, users should be aware that the small jar size is designed for limited coverage and will not provide the same throw as the larger multi-wick options.

FAQs
How long will this small jar candle last?
This candle provides up to 29 hours of burn time when used according to care instructions.
What is the primary scent of this candle?
It features a Sage & Citrus scent profile, which is designed to be earthy, refreshing, and calming.
Can I use the glass lid while the candle is burning?
No, the glass lid should only be used to cover the candle when it is not lit and has cooled down completely.
Is the wax made from paraffin?
This signature candle is crafted with a premium plant wax blend.
How do I prevent soot?
Always trim your wick to 5mm before each burn and keep the candle away from drafts to ensure a clean, steady flame.
What should I do if the wax has soot on the edges of the glass?
Once the candle is completely cool, use a damp cloth to gently wipe the inside of the glass jar clean.
Troubleshooting
The candle is burning down the middle (tunneling).
On your next burn, leave the candle lit longer until the entire surface melts to the edge of the glass.
The flame is too high or flickering.
Extinguish the candle, let it cool completely, and trim the wick to 5mm before relighting.
Fragrance throw seems weak.
Ensure the candle is placed in a smaller room or closer to your seating area, as the small jar size is optimized for targeted scenting.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Yankee Candle lasts its full 29-hour lifespan, proper care is essential:
- First Burn Importance: When you light the candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the wax has melted all the way to the edges of the jar. This prevents 'tunneling,' which can waste wax and limit the scent throw.
- Wick Trimming: Always trim the wick to about 5mm before every lighting. This helps prevent smoke and keeps the flame size manageable.
- Safety Placement: Keep the candle on a level, heat-resistant surface and away from flammable objects. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer if possible to avoid splashing wax or creating excess smoke. Always replace the glass lid once the wax has completely cooled to maintain scent potency.
