Setup
- Choose Location: Select a location with adequate sunlight for your climbing plants. Ensure the area is level.
- Assemble the Frame: Connect the metal tubes using the provided connectors. You can choose either the triangular or square shape.
- Secure the Netting: Attach the garden trellis netting to the frame using the netting securing straps, ensuring it is taut.
- Insert into Soil: Use the sharp caps at the bottom of the A-frame to insert the trellis firmly into the soil.
- Plant and Guide: Plant your climbing plants at the base of the trellis and gently guide the vines onto the netting or secure them with the plant clips.
Compatibility
The Costway Cucumber Trellis is compatible with various climbing plants, including cucumbers, grapes, gourds, peas, eggplants, roses, and clematis. Ensure the plant species is suitable for the trellis's size and weight capacity.
Care
- Regular Inspection: Check the trellis regularly for stability and any signs of rust or wear.
- Cleaning: Clean the metal frame with a damp cloth as needed to remove dirt and debris.
- Plant Management: Prune your climbing plants to prevent overcrowding and ensure proper air circulation.
- Winter Storage: In colder climates, consider disassembling the trellis and storing it indoors during the winter months to extend its lifespan.
