This CCA 250mm Spiked Aeration Roller is designed for professionals working with self-levelling compounds and resin screeds. The roller should be used immediately after the self-levelling compound or resin screed has been applied, while the material is still wet and workable, to effectively remove trapped air bubbles.
After each use, rinse the roller thoroughly with water while the material is still wet on the spikes. This prevents hardening and ensures the roller is ready for its next use.
It is designed for self-levelling compounds, epoxy screeds, cementitious levelling materials, and other resin screeds.
The roller has a working width of 250mm.
The product comes with a one-year CCA guarantee.
The product description does not specify if a handle is included. Please refer to the product packaging or retailer for handle inclusion.
Removing air bubbles prevents pinholes and weak spots in the screed, ensuring a smooth, durable, and professional finish that improves adhesion and waterproofing for subsequent flooring layers.
Ensure the roller is used immediately after the compound is applied, while it is still wet and workable. Check that the spikes are clean and not clogged with dried material.
Rinse the roller thoroughly with water immediately after use. If material has begun to harden, a stiff brush may be needed, but prompt cleaning is the best preventative measure.
Apply consistent, steady pressure while rolling. Ensure the roller is moved evenly across the wet compound. Avoid stopping and starting abruptly.
Setup: The roller is ready for immediate use upon unpacking. Ensure the handle is securely attached (if applicable) and the splash guard is correctly positioned.
Compatibility: This roller is compatible with wet self-levelling compounds, epoxy screeds, cementitious levelling materials, and other resin-based flooring applications.
Care: After each use, the roller must be thoroughly rinsed with water while the compound is still wet to prevent hardening on the spikes. Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
