Troubleshooting
Hinge feels stiff or sticky
Gently flex the hinge back and forth. If the issue persists, a small amount of dry lubricant (like graphite powder) can be applied to the hinge mechanism. Avoid liquid lubricants which can attract dirt.
Measurements appear inaccurate
Ensure the ruler is fully extended and the hinges are securely latched at the desired angle. Check that the surface being measured is flat and that the ruler is aligned correctly with the starting point.
Printing is difficult to read
Ensure the ruler is clean and free of debris. Good lighting conditions are essential for accurate reading, especially in dimly lit work areas.
