FAQs
How long does it take to charge these batteries?
Charge time depends on the output of your specific 12V charger, but generally, SLA batteries take 6-10 hours for a full charge.
Can I use a lithium charger for these batteries?
No, you must use a charger specifically designed for Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries to avoid damaging the cells.
Are these batteries waterproof?
They are splash-resistant due to the sealed design, but they should not be submerged in water.
What should I do if the battery is dented?
If the casing is compromised, the battery should be retired and recycled according to local regulations.
Does the 1-year warranty cover natural capacity loss?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not the expected gradual reduction in capacity that occurs through normal use.
Troubleshooting
Barrow loses power quickly on the bank
Ensure both batteries are fully charged and the connection terminals are clean of corrosion.
Battery will not take a charge
Check the charger compatibility and ensure the fuse in the barrow wiring harness is not blown.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the PBB units is straightforward: ensure your barrow's battery compartment is clean and free of debris before insertion. Verify that the positive and negative terminals are connected correctly to your barrow’s wiring harness.
Care instructions include:
- Charging: Always use a compatible 12V SLA charger. Avoid leaving the batteries in a discharged state for extended periods, as this can lead to sulfation.
- Storage: During the off-season, store the batteries in a cool, dry place. Charge them at least once every three months to prevent self-discharge damage.
- Safety: Do not attempt to open the valve-regulated casing. If the battery casing appears cracked or swollen, discontinue use immediately.
