FAQs

Can this mat be used outside?

No, this mat is specifically designed for indoor use.

Is the material soft enough for toddlers to sit on?

Yes, the mat is designed to be soft and provides a cushioned surface suitable for sitting and playing.

What are the exact dimensions?

The mat measures 60cm by 100cm.

Does it require a separate rug pad?

No, the mat comes with an integrated anti-slip backing, so no additional padding is required.

Can I tumble dry the mat?

We recommend against using a tumble dryer; the mat should be air dried to preserve the integrity of the anti-slip backing.

Will it protect my carpet?

While it can be placed on carpet, it is most effective at protecting hard floors like wood, laminate, or tile.

Troubleshooting

The mat is sliding on a polished surface.

Ensure the floor is clean and dry. Dust or debris underneath the backing can reduce the effectiveness of the anti-slip material.

Stains not coming out after light washing.

Try spot-cleaning the area with a mild detergent before placing it in the washing machine for a full 30°C cycle.

Edges are curling up.

Lay the mat flat and place heavy, flat objects on the corners for 24 hours to help the material relax and settle.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Football Pitch Playmat is as simple as unrolling it on a flat, clean floor surface. No additional tape or underlay is required due to the built-in anti-slip backing. It is compatible with most hard floor surfaces, including hardwood, tile, and laminate.

To keep the mat in top condition:

Routine Cleaning: Vacuum or shake out the mat regularly to remove loose dirt and dust.
Machine Washing: For deeper cleaning, wash in a standard washing machine at 30°C.
Drying: Air dry the mat flat. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as high heat can damage the non-slip backing material.
Placement: Ensure the floor is completely dry before placing the mat down to prevent any moisture buildup beneath the backing.
