FAQs
What is the maximum recommended stretch for this cord?
While designed for elasticity, it's best to avoid stretching the cord beyond 50% of its original length to maintain its integrity and lifespan.
Can this cord be used for lifting heavy objects?
This cord is designed for securing and holding down items, not for lifting heavy loads. Always use appropriate lifting equipment for such tasks.
How long will the cord last?
With proper care and use, the cord should last for a considerable time. Factors like frequency of use, tension applied, and exposure to elements can affect its lifespan.
Can I cut the cord to a custom length?
Yes, you can cut the cord to your desired length. It is recommended to seal the cut ends with a flame (carefully) to prevent fraying, though this may slightly alter the appearance.
Is this cord waterproof?
The cord itself is generally water-resistant, but prolonged immersion in water is not recommended. Ensure it dries thoroughly after exposure to moisture.
What is the return policy if it doesn't meet my needs?
You can return the purchase within 30 days of receiving the item. Please note that the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Troubleshooting
Cord doesn't provide enough tension
Ensure the cord is securely fastened at both ends and consider using a shorter length or a second cord if the item is particularly large or heavy.
Cord appears stretched out permanently
The cord may have reached its maximum elastic limit. For critical applications, consider replacing it. Inspect for any sharp edges on attachment points that may have caused damage.
Visible dirt or stains on the white cord
Gently wipe the affected area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry completely.
