Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Begin by preparing your workspace. Ensure good lighting, as the black Aida fabric can make counting stitches more difficult. You may wish to use a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut while stitching. Unpack all the included materials and familiarize yourself with the chart and instructions.
Compatibility: This kit uses standard DMC embroidery floss and a John James needle, ensuring compatibility with common cross-stitching tools and accessories. The 14-count Aida fabric is compatible with most standard cross-stitch patterns of this count.
Care: To care for your finished cross-stitch, gently hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting. Rinse thoroughly and lay flat on a clean towel to dry. Press the finished piece from the back on a low heat setting, using a pressing cloth. It is recommended to frame the finished piece under glass for protection.
