FAQs
What is the MetalForge technology?
MetalForge is a specialized printing and manufacturing process that applies textures like stone, gold, and copper to the card surface to create a premium, tactile finish.
Are all cards in the box metal?
No, only specific MetalForge cards feature these premium textures; the box also contains a mix of standard base cards, Chase cards, and numbered inserts.
Can I complete the whole set with one box?
The Treasure Box contains 48 cards, but the total set size is larger; completing the collection typically requires trading with others or purchasing multiple packs.
What are the 1/1 black metal cards?
These are the rarest items in the collection, meaning only one copy of that specific card exists in the entire production run.
Are the pencil sketches printed or original?
They are premium reproductions of original Uderzo pencil sketches, featuring special numbering to denote their rarity.
How should I store the MetalForge cards?
Keep them in the provided plexiglass case or a high-quality rigid card holder designed for thick trading cards.
Troubleshooting
Card surface appears dusty or marked
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not use water or liquid cleaners.
Unsure if a card is a rare parallel
Consult the provided collector's checklist to identify the foil patterns and numbering sequences associated with rare variants.
Plexiglass case arrived with surface scuffs
The case is designed to protect the card inside. If it is scratched, it has successfully fulfilled its purpose; you can purchase standard-sized replacement acrylic cases from most hobby shops.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the integrity of your collection, store all cards in a temperature-controlled environment away from direct sunlight, which can fade the colors on the Uderzo sketches. Avoid bending the MetalForge cards, as their unique composition makes them less flexible than standard paper cards. Always use caution when removing the card from the provided plexiglass case; ensure your hands are clean and dry to avoid transferring skin oils onto the card surface. The collection is fully compatible with standard trading card storage systems, though oversized protectors may be required for the thicker MetalForge cards.
