The Maypole BH120 High Cover and Frame is an essential upgrade for owners of Maypole SY120 or Erde 122 trailers who need to maximize their cargo capacity. By providing an additional 30cm of vertical space, this kit allows for taller or bulkier items to be transported securely under a weather-resistant cover. While it significantly increases utility, users should note that the increased height affects the wind profile and overall clearance of the trailer during transit.

This frame and cover kit is specifically designed for the Maypole SY120 and Erde 122 trailers.
The BH120 kit adds 30cm of vertical storage space to your trailer.
Yes, the kit includes a reinforced PVC cover designed to provide excellent protection against rain and external elements.
While it is possible to install alone, having a second person to help position the tubular frame can make the process significantly faster and easier.
Standard hand tools such as a wrench and screwdriver are typically required to secure the frame hardware to the trailer body.
Use a soft brush or sponge with warm, soapy water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the PVC coating.
Check all connection points and mounting hardware to ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
Ensure the cover is pulled evenly and securely across the frame; adjust the tension straps to create a slight slope for drainage.
Installation of the BH120 frame involves mounting the tubular steel structure onto the existing side panels of your Maypole SY120 or Erde 122 trailer. Ensure all mounting bolts are tightened securely to prevent rattling or movement during transit. To maintain the life of the PVC cover, avoid dragging it across sharp edges during installation and clean it periodically with mild soap and water to prevent the build-up of dirt or mildew. Always verify that the cover is pulled taut and properly strapped down before departing to prevent water pooling on the top surface during rain.
