This Bosch HSS-R titanium metal drill bit set is designed for fast and clean drilling into metals. It includes 19 drill bits with sizes ranging from 1mm to 10mm, in 0.5mm increments, suitable for various drilling tasks. Made from high-speed steel with a titanium-nitride coating, these bits offer up to 40% faster drilling than comparable bits. They are suitable for alloyed and unalloyed steel with a tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm², malleable cast iron, sintered iron, copper, bronze, and hard plastics like Perspex. However, they are not recommended for use with aluminium. The set comes in a metal tin for safe storage. Drill bit sizes included are: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 7.5mm, 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm, 9.5mm, and 10mm.
