The Makita HR2631F is a 26mm combination hammer with enhanced operation-mode change lever, building upon the features of the HR2611F. It boasts Anti-vibration technology for reduced user fatigue, an LED job light for improved visibility, and a modified operation-mode change lever allowing seamless switching between 'Rotation', 'Rotation with hammering', and 'Hammering' modes without rotating the chuck. The drill features a one-touch sliding chuck for easy bit installation and removal, variable speed control via the trigger, forward/reverse rotation, a torque limiter, and double insulation for safety. It offers 40 different bit angle settings, a compact and lightweight design, and a depth stop for precise drilling. The ergonomically designed handle with a rubberized soft grip ensures maximum control and comfort during use. Makita's Anti Vibration Technology (AVT) is a benchmark in vibration reduction, with mechanisms that transfer air through chambers to push a counterbalance, effectively canceling out piston-created vibrations. Shock-absorbing handles are also incorporated on relevant tools for added protection. The drill has a maximum capacity in concrete of TCT bit 26mm, TCT core 68mm, and diamond core 80mm. It can also drill up to 32mm in wood and 13mm in steel.
