Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first use, wash the pan with warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly. While the enamel coating does not require traditional seasoning like raw cast iron, it is best to avoid metal utensils to prevent scratches; silicone or wooden tools are recommended. When cooking, gradually bring the pan to temperature to avoid thermal shock, especially on induction or high-output burners. After use, allow the pan to cool completely before submerging in water. Although the enamel coating is robust, hand washing with a soft sponge is the best practice to maintain the finish. Always lift the pan rather than sliding it across glass or ceramic stovetops to avoid surface scratches.
