FAQs

Can this shade be used with any type of light bulb?

No, this shade is specifically designed for GLS LED light bulbs. It is not compatible with incandescent, halogen, or CFL bulbs.

What does 'Easy Fit' mean?

'Easy Fit' means the shade can be attached directly to your existing lamp holder without needing to remove the bulb holder or requiring any tools or wiring.

What bulb cap fittings are compatible?

The shade is compatible with E14, E27, and B22 cap fittings, which are common in many household lamps and fixtures.

How do I clean the shade?

Gently wipe the shade with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Will this shade fit on a pendant light?

Yes, if the pendant light has a compatible E14, E27, or B22 lamp holder and is designed to accommodate an easy-fit shade.

What is the main benefit of the textured glass?

The textured smoky grey glass diffuses light effectively, reducing glare and creating a softer, more ambient lighting effect in the room.

Troubleshooting

Shade does not fit securely

Ensure you are using the correct cap fitting (E14, E27, or B22) and that the lamp holder is suitable for an easy-fit shade. Check for any obstructions on the lamp holder.

Light appears dimmer than expected

Confirm that a GLS LED bulb is being used and check its wattage. The textured glass will naturally diffuse light, which may reduce brightness compared to a clear shade.

Glass appears smudged after cleaning

Use a soft, lint-free cloth and ensure it is only slightly damp. Dry thoroughly with a separate clean, dry cloth immediately after cleaning.
