FAQs

Does the backpack fit as carry-on luggage?

Yes, at 30L capacity, it typically meets the standard carry-on requirements for most major airlines.

Can I fit a tripod on this bag?

The exterior design supports tripod attachment points; consult the side straps to secure your equipment.

Is the camera insert waterproof?

The insert provides padding and organization; while the bag is weather-resistant, the insert itself is not fully waterproof.

Can I remove the internal dividers?

Yes, the FlexGrid system is fully modular and allows for complete removal or reconfiguration of the interior.

What is the maximum laptop size it can hold?

The laptop compartment is specifically designed for devices up to 16 inches.

Troubleshooting

Side access zipper feels stuck

Ensure no fabric or straps are caught in the track and clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush.

Bag feels unbalanced while carrying

Rearrange the gear in the internal insert to distribute weight closer to the center of the bag.

Laptop compartment is too tight

Verify the laptop is not inside a bulky protective sleeve that exceeds the 16-inch dimensions.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Highly versatile capacity ranging from 25L to 33L
Excellent protection with weather-resistant build and YKK zippers
Highly customizable interior via the FlexGrid panel
Dedicated 16-inch laptop sleeve for modern workflows
Quick access side pocket for fast gear deployment

Cons

Larger profile may feel cumbersome for smaller individuals
Weight of the bag is noticeable when fully loaded
Roll-top closure requires more time to open/close compared to standard zippers

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To configure the backpack, remove the internal camera insert and adjust the FlexGrid dividers to fit your specific camera bodies and lenses before loading them into the bag. Ensure the laptop sleeve is utilized for your 16-inch device to provide extra structure to the back panel. For care, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt; the weather-resistant fabric should not be machine washed. Periodically check that the YKK zippers are clear of grit or debris to maintain smooth operation.
