The Apricorn Aegis Secure Key 3.0 USB flash drive offers robust data protection with FIPS 140-2 Level 3 Pending certification and military-grade AES 256-bit XTS hardware encryption. It features a PIN-activated alphanumeric keypad for secure access, preventing key logging. The drive is dust and water resistant with IP58 certification pending. Setup is software-free and it is OS and platform independent, compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and embedded systems. It is immune to the BadUSB exploit, has a locked USB controller, and is designed and assembled in the U.S.A. This secure key provides advanced data protection with a user-friendly interface, offering cross-platform compatibility and USB 3.0 speeds. It is available in capacities up to 240GB. The FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validation covers cryptographic security, including physical tamper-resistance and identity-based authentication. Data is encrypted on-the-fly using onboard hardware. The rechargeable battery allows for PIN entry before connecting to a USB port. Independent User and Admin PINs are supported, ideal for corporate and government use. A drive reset feature allows for clearing PINs, destroying data, and generating new encryption keys. The durable aluminum housing is crush-resistant and tamper-evident, meeting IP58 standards for dust and water resistance. Internal components are protected by epoxy coating, preventing physical attacks. The drive includes a programmable "Brute Force Hack Defense Mechanism" that deletes the encryption key and destroys data after a set number of incorrect PIN entries. An unattended auto-lock feature secures the data when unplugged or after inactivity.
