FAQs
What age range is this product suitable for?
This product is suitable for children aged 3 years and older, as it meets and exceeds relevant safety standards for toys.
Are these models to scale?
While Maisto aims for high accuracy, the exact scale can vary between different models within the Fresh Metal line. They are designed as detailed miniatures rather than precise scale models for collectors.
Can these vehicles be used with toy car tracks?
These vehicles are designed for general play and display. While some might roll on certain tracks, they are not specifically designed for compatibility with any particular track system.
What materials are the vehicles made from?
The vehicles are primarily constructed from a durable metal alloy with ABS resin for smaller components and details.
How many vehicles are included in the pack?
Each pack contains a collection of nine diecast miniature vehicles.
Are the vehicles officially licensed?
Yes, the vehicles are officially licensed reproductions from some of the world's most recognized car brands.
Can I choose which specific cars are in my pack?
The packs contain a selection of great cars, but the specific assortment may vary, offering a surprise element with each purchase.
Troubleshooting
Wheels are stiff or do not roll freely.
Gently check if any debris is obstructing the wheels or axles. If a wheel appears bent, try to carefully straighten it. Ensure the vehicle is not being pushed down with excessive force.
Paint appears chipped or scratched.
For minor chips, touch-up paint might be available from hobby stores, but precise matching can be difficult. For scratches, a very light buff with a soft cloth may help, but avoid aggressive polishing.
Small parts (e.g., mirrors, spoilers) have detached.
For younger children, consider leaving detached parts aside for safety. For collectors, a small dab of model cement or super glue can reattach parts, but use sparingly and carefully to avoid damaging the finish.
