This d-c-fix sticky back plastic comes in a pack of 3 rolls, each measuring 67.5cm x 2m. It's an easy-to-use DIY product perfect for rejuvenating furniture or updating kitchen doors for a new look in minutes. The vinyl boasts a 5-star rating for adhesion, opacity, light fastness, shrinkage, and durability. Its water-based, low-tack adhesive allows for repositioning during application, making it easy to apply to clean, smooth, flat surfaces. Simply remove the backing paper gradually and smooth into place, eliminating air bubbles. Mistakes can be easily corrected by peeling back and reapplying. The film is heat resistant up to 75°C, suitable for hot cups and plates but not hot pans. Keep it at least 12 inches away from open flames and use a worktop saver for cutting. Clean with regular household cleaners and wipe up staining spillages immediately. This non-permanent solution is ideal for tenants and landlords looking for a budget-friendly way to update surfaces, or for upcycling furniture. The film is fully removable; use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive and warm soapy water to remove any residue. For best results, use a d-c-fix smoother and the grid on the backing paper for cutting. Consider using a sealant around sinks and hobs, and a light spray of water on smooth surfaces like glass and appliances. A hairdryer can help make the vinyl more pliable on curved surfaces.
