The Supermarine Walrus Mk.I, despite its rather ungainly appearance, was one of the most effective aircraft of its type ever built. Required to operate in particularly hostile environments, the Walrus was an excellent naval reconnaissance aircraft and became an invaluable air-sea rescue asset, responsible for saving the lives of many downed airmen. This Airfix model kit allows you to effortlessly create a highly detailed and authentic replica of this iconic aircraft. Designed for modellers of all skill levels, it offers a satisfying experience in assembling and painting. The set includes 157 parts and a 1:48 scale model of the Supermarine Walrus Mk.I, along with an instruction sheet, paint guide, and decal sheet. Please note that paint and glue are required for assembly and are not included. Airfix, the UK's oldest plastic model kit manufacturer since 1952, offers a diverse range of iconic aircraft, cars, figures, and more.
