FAQs

Are these springs compatible with all Bahco secateurs?

No, these springs are specifically designed for Bahco ERGOTM secateurs and P64 models only.

How many springs are included in the pack?

Each pack contains two (2) spare springs.

What is the weight of the spring pack?

The total weight of the pack is approximately 20 grams.

Can I use these springs for other brands of secateurs?

We do not recommend using these springs for other brands as they are precision-engineered for specific Bahco models and may not fit or function correctly.

How often should I replace the springs?

Springs should be replaced when they show signs of wear, breakage, or reduced responsiveness, which can vary based on usage frequency and environmental conditions.

Where can I find instructions for replacing the spring?

Refer to the user manual that came with your Bahco ERGOTM secateurs or P64 pruners. If you no longer have the manual, you may find diagrams or instructions on the official Bahco website.

Troubleshooting

Secateurs still feel sluggish after spring replacement.

Ensure the new spring is correctly seated and not obstructed. Check other moving parts of the secateur for dirt or damage that might impede movement. Clean and lubricate the pivot point.

Spring does not fit correctly.

Verify that you have the correct Bahco model (ERGOTM secateurs or P64). These springs are model-specific.

Spring was lost during installation.

Carefully search the work area. Consider using a magnetic tool or tray to help locate small metal parts. If a spring is irretrievably lost, a new pack will be required.
